“It’s like Africa hot” That is a quote from the movie Biloxi Blues with Matthew Broderick and Christopher Walken from way back 1988, I think. The quote comes right when Matthew Broderick arrives in Biloxi Mississippi to start boot camp and he never knew heat, like they know heat down South. Why am I thinking of Biloxi Blues, besides the fact that it was an excellent movie? It’s because it is like Africa hot right now in New York and pretty much everywhere in the Northeast region. Moreover it is going to be Africa hot for the rest of the week. I just looked on my iphone and see that my friend in Glasgow is feeing quite warm as well, not as hot as we are here but warm.I am assuming that my dear friend in Manchester is probably feeling warm, along the lines of Glasgow. However, my family over in Paris and Bordeaux France are being pummeled by a heat wave. Happy Summer everyone! 🙂
