Today was a very fruitful day, we found out so much during our campus tour. University of Miami isn’t one of those big State schools, it is a medium sized private university. I knew that it was a private institution, but I was surprised to find out that it had about 10,000 undergraduate students, as opposed to the usual 40,000 students found at the traditional State schools. We also took the time to go see the School of Marine Biology and Atmospheric Science on the Bay of Biscayne. So we had another long day of Mass Transit, we are, as of now, sitting in bed at the hotel, watching Castle on TNT, we ate the leftovers from the Asian Bistro that we went to on Saturday night. We are both pooped.
The campus is quite beautiful. The palm trees everywhere, the small bodies of water, home to families of ducks and fountains everywhere. The people that we needed to see and pester with questions were readily available and very kind and helpful.
We also went to the Miami Seaquarium while we were out on Biscayne island. We got splashed quite a bit by the dolphins, we saw nine alligators, three manatees, three sea turtles and a bunch of parrots. We were busy, busy, busy.
