Are you stubborn as a grass stain or as easy going as a light breeze on a warm day? Tell us about the ways in which you’re stubborn — which issues make you dig your heels in and refuse to budge?
I can be both, it really all depends on what the issue is and who is on the opposing side. When I was about nine or so, I remember have a battle of wills against my mother over wearing a dress. I ran into the bathroom all upset because I was not going to wear a dress, any kind of dress, I wanted to wear pants. My mother through the door called me a “tete de mule” a mule head obviously. I wound up wearing the dress, who was really the mule head in that argument?
I told that story to my hubby years ago, he has never forgotten it, how do I know? He reminds me whenever we are disagreeing on something and I am sticking to my opinions and diging in my heels. There are so many times when I am so many different ways of wrong and eventually I see how ridiculous I was being and I do get a good laugh out of it, all at myself, which I never mind. I am always willing and able to laugh at myself, I am very funny.
On the other hand, I am very easy-going about tons of stuff. Life is too short to be constantly mad, annoyed or put out. Moreover with my lack of memory, I forget extremely easily and so that eliminates much of the fuss and muss.
No one is all one and not the other, we are all different shades of whatever color makes your palette shine.
