When does sharing online become over sharing?

I make a point of not using my children’s names, I don’t reveal intimate, personal details of my marriage. I don’t share personal details about my family because it might impact them since they are older, aside from the funny little anecdotes that can’t do any harm and they don’t mind. On the other hand, I haven’t any problem sharing things about myself with my readers, whatever I write about, I am comfortable enough to say to my friends up close and personal. Anything that I wouldn’t feel right about sharing, would in that case, be saved up for the therapist, not that I have one these days, but if ever I needed to renter therapy, I know that the door would be open.
