Happy Anniversary to us, twenty six years ago, today we pledged our vows to each other. The vows for better, for worse, in sickness and in health have stood the test of time so far, here is to twenty six more years.

We did our celebrating Monday night with a lovely meal at Menton in Boston near our hotel where we stayed before my surgery. Today we are relaxing, watching t.v and reveling in the good fortune that my doctors pay attention to my husband when he wants more tests to get to the bottom of whatever ails me. If we hadn’t gotten the second MRI, we wouldn’t have known about the second tumor and it could have grown into my brain and the surgery would have been much worse. Thanks to my husband’s vigilance, the tumor was caught early and I’m home the next day on our wedding anniversary. Perfect.
