The view from my window makes me think of Scottish moors, I was fortunate enough to have visited Scotland when I was twenty and it was a trip I will never forget, it was so beautiful. My husband and I have been watching the series “Outlander” which is set in the Scottish highlands. The capital of the highlands is Inverness, my friends and I spent a four day weekend in Scotland with two days in Edinburgh and two days in Inverness and at the end of this season’s “Outlander”, the characters have just survived the Battle of Culloden, a few miles from Inverness. I always find it a little exciting to be familiar with a place when I’m watching a t.v show or a movie.
If ever you are lucky enough to find yourself with the opportunity to visit Scotland, jump at the chance, it’s incredibly beautiful and the people are some of the nicest you will ever meet.
