Today was another day spent at the hospital, getting an endoscopy to make sure that everything is still on the up and up, Doctor Birkman took biopsies, we’ll know next week if the site is still clean. An endoscopy is relatively easy and painless, it lasts only a half hour and you’re asleep for it, the anesthesia is light if you will, you wake up easily and without the grogginess and nausea the older anesthesia used to leave you with as an side effect.
Jack has been sitting next to me since I got home, he’s a very good care companion, he doesn’t demand attention, he just stays close just in case I need to touch him or pet him. He lovingly makes himself available, he is so cute, our little Jack.
