Today I am burying my face, not in the sand, but in my flowers. We may be experiencing drought conditions in Western Massachusetts, but my longstanding buddies are standing tall. I’m pretty sure my shade trees are responsible for their healthy demeanor. This year’s drought is seriously harming our local farmers, their corn and tomato crops are suffering, I hope our rain situation turns around sometime soon, if only for their sakes.
Our backyard “lawn” hasn’t done as well, it has become an interesting beige color, between the sun and the dogs, it hasn’t had a prayer. I’m sure next year’s grass will come in ready to be green in spite of being tortured this summer.
Our “lawn” crinkles under my feet as I walk across it. But your flowers are just lovely. I am all for “flower therapy”…Cheers!
Thinking of you constantly, Laurie. I am not blogging atm but want to keep a check on you. Much much love x
Thank you my wonderful friend! Hugs Jules xxoo
Word “Flower therapy” itself is very loving, flowers are like colors of life, turns with the time, make life more colorful and happy,
