Yesterday the water in the pool registered a warm 78 degrees, I didn’t go in, my husband was the brave one who found out, but for Blandford that is some warm pool water. Stanley got a taste of the pool and it wasn’t to his liking, Jack did as well, he wasn’t crazy about it either, he kept to the jungle part of our backyard which is why he isn’t in a picture, he made sure to keep himself scarce after his turn in the water. Lulu never made it into the pool, she knew when to approach and when to hang back, so she stayed high and dry. She is so cute.

All these years of reading your blog and I never knew you had a pool. Make the most of it while the weather is warm.
I think I don’t write about it because the pool is so much work, the vacuuming, the various things that break down, I take care of all of it so I see it as a chore and often times a source of stress because it’s expensive. The kids have enjoyed it over the years and that was the goal but for me I would have used the space for vegetables and flowers lol.
