A warning to those who imbibed during the fascinating tour of the abbey and its distillery. lol

We seem to think that women working outside the home is a relatively new phenomena, but these pictures indicate otherwise and from what I have read elsewhere, women have been working in factories as long as factories have been in existance. Happy Labor Day.

The museum was extremely fascinating, essentially all of the treasures were gathered from Alexandre le Grand’s estate, his collection was magnificient to behold.

The stained glass is a dispiction of Francois the First, one of my favorite French kings, during his visit to Fecamp and the Abbey.

The wood carving, with carved ivory and bas relief carved marble is another piece of exquisite artwork and the ancient books are priceless.

The distillery was almost as physically beautiful as the abbey.
