When my husband and I were on our way back home from the movies yesterday; we stopped at Agway’s in Westfield to buy the remaining annuals needed to finish up the front. The pictures that I am posting below are the results of the planting that I did yesterday as soon as we got home. All of the containers now have a mixture of geraniums, pansies, petunias and I cannot remember the name of the other annuals I planted, I am having a brain cloud at the moment. After these past two weekends of planting; the rest of the summer will be devoted to maintenance and weeding, I don’t ever mind the weeding; it’s therapeutic busy work.
There is nothing like the good feeling that one gets after a project is done, no matter what it is; be it baking, cooking, gardening or other types of projects. I can’t seem to get the same satisfaction with housework though; I wish that I could, but to me it only feels like drudgery. My poor house, if it were cognizant it would be pretty hurt I would imagine. It’s not that I don’t love my house, I do, it is the dusting and polishing that I don’t care for at all.
Anyway here is to pretty flowering plants!
