You can never celebrate a birthday too much

Since my hubby and I have been on the road so much lately, we haven’t had the opportunity to correctly celebrate the baby boy’s birthday on his special day which was Wednesday so I thought that making him his favorite dessert would be a nice thing to do as well as make him one of his favorite meals, rack of lamb and mashed potatoes. The cheesecake is an awfully good dessert, the cream cheese mixture slides down the throat in such a comforting way, very soothing in nature. I make it using the recipe that my hubby found and it has made many taste buds very happy. I am looking forward to having a piece later on this evening when it comes out of the refrigerator. It needs to rest for several hours in the fridge to properly set up, it is almost four hours in the cold box so any minute now. I will wait for the baby boy to get home but every time I open the refrigerator, the tempting smell of cheesecake is hard to resist.

It is so nice to bake and cook for the people you love.

Your entire community — however you define that; your hometown, your neighborhood, your family, your colleagues — is guaranteed to read your blog tomorrow. Write the post you’d like them all to see.

I don't quite know how to respond to this one, when I started my blog, I used it as a personal journal and I still do. My blog doesn't have a purpose aside from being a place where I house my thoughts, my impressions and my pictures. It has been my place to make friends in a different way from the usual, anonymity often makes it easier to unload certain concerns, fear and insecurities. I find much more safety in sharing my secrets with my WordPress friends than my own family because within my community of WordPresser's there isn't any judgment or expectations. Having said that I am sure that certain family members will be calling to ask me what I mean and why did I write what I did, which goes back to what I originally wrote. Or perhaps they will surprise me and say nothing because deep down they know that I am right, it is often much easier to divulge secrets to strangers than to your loved ones, there is usually too much subtext and context involved to be able to get away cleanly after spilling whatever secret to someone close to the situation.

I know that I once again didn't answer the prompt correctly but that is how I am rolling today, a little bit to the contrary.
