We are missing our baby girl and saying goodbye was bittersweet but it is nice to be back home in Massachusetts. We missed both the baby boy and Jack. My feet are a little cold because it is a cool 55 degrees as opposed to the 85 degree humid soup we left. There were some gorgeous views out in Miami, but when we were flying back home and getting close to the ground, the fall foliage was breathtaking seen from above. All the rusts, oranges, yellows, reds and greens made me think of pumpkin pie, apple tartes and hot chocolate.

I am exhausted and I am definitely looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight as I am sure that Jack is looking forward to sleeping with his Maman and Papa. lol. Here are two pictures of our little baby boy Jack.

Tell us about a talent you’d love to have… but don’t.

I wish that I had a powerful singing voice with a few octaves at my disposal. A talent like Pat Benetar or the singer from Effernesence , these two singers can give someone goosebumps just by opening their mouths and viola. I know how much I used to love singing in the car, alone, pretending that I was the one on the radio bringing happiness to others. How can I have neglected to mention Adele? I can't imagine what it must feel like to have her gift, to look out into the crowd and see all those people singing along with you only because they love the sound of your voice so much that they are trying to share your experience with you. It must be such a powerful tonic to your soul. I promise that if I had the power of song, I would only use it for good.:) Not like the sirens of Greek mythology who used their gifts to lure poor sailors to their death, I love Greek mythology, the way it explains most things of the world has always fascinated me and I passed my love of Greek mythology over to my children.

Orpheus was able to gain entry into Hades through his song of lost love, it was so beautiful that it even moved Cerberus the three headed dog to howl with grief. Apollo was also known as the God of music and he led the Nine Muses in choral melodies. I even remember the nuns telling us little ones that singing God's hymns was actually praying twice.

The power of a beautiful voice is something that I wish I had. I wonder if I would sing myself to sleep. lol.
