I got carried away by the musical Wicked and the fantastic meal we had eaten at Bistro du Midi, that I forgot to share the pictures that I had taken of Boston while I was walking around that Saturday morning. Today I am back in New York at my mother’s house, waiting for my hubby while he is doing work out on Long Island and I went for a walk towards the park and while I was walking, I kept going back to the same thought, that eventually I would like to move permanently to Boston. I really love it there, I will always come back just as often to my mother’s house to visit, but in terms of a semi-permanent residence until retirement, Boston is definitely the city of my choice. No more commuting for my hubby, we can have a simple one or two bedroom apartment, two bedroom if the babies need to visit us for a while and Jack would be happy in Boston, it is quieter than New York and Boston has many nice parks.

These are just musings off the top of my head, I really liked my pictures and especially the blue sky that day, it provided the perfect backdrop to everything that I was looking at from behind my cellphone.

Funny ha-ha

Do you consider yourself funny? What role does humor play in your life? Who’s the funniest person you know?

Am I funny? I don't know if I am funny, but I do know that I laugh a lot and I find humor more easily than your average person. I make myself laugh A LOT because I am fairly clumsy, I mispronounce words fairly regularly, I do a lot of silly things so I am blessed with a treasure trove of things that make me laugh and it all comes from me, I don't even have to watch t.v to get a good laugh, I can just walk into a doorway and I'll laugh, silly goose that I am. Hee, Hee

My hubby makes me laugh everyday because he gets my sense of humor perfectly. He chalks up our happy marriage to his ability to keep me laughing on a daily basis and he's right, laughter is a big reason why we are happily married after all these years. When laughter is in your world, everything seems better, at least for the time being.

One of the funniest people that I know is my cousin Didier, he is so witty and he is gifted with a spot on comic timing that up and coming comedians would die for, he is wit is dry and so on point, that he can make anything funny. We all fight over who gets to sit next to him at the dinner table at every family function because whoever sits next to him will be laughing the whole time. He is non stop with the funny remarks.

Laughter is the greatest gift in the world, well perhaps tied with singing, music is pretty grand also. Both soothe the soul.
