Edouard Degas' "Little Ballerina" is one of my favorite sculptures, that and Rodin's "Thinker". There is something about both of them that represents, the best of the human spirit, at least that is what I see when I gaze at both of them. There is something within those two pieces of beauty that speaks to my soul, the perfect stillness and peaceful repose that comforts me.

Chere Isabelle, non je ne connaissais pas l’oeuvre mais il me plais enormement. Je vois de quoi tu a parle envers la lumiere et aussi le traitement des feuilles des arbres, on voit bien le vent qui se leve. Le ciel aussi est troublant. Je voudrais bien un jour de pouvoir le voir en vrai a Venice. Je pense souvent a toi, Pierre et les enfants. J’ai passe un super bon sejour chez toi. 🙂 Je vous embrasse tous tres fort 🙂
