Daily Prompt: Island of Misfit Posts

We all have something we’d like to write about, but that doesn’t really “fit” our blog. Write it anyway.

My blog doesn’t have that problem, my blog is a free for all. My blog carries my name and so I have the freedom to write whatever I want to and that is the way I like it. “It’s my blog and I can write what I want to, I can write what I want… you would write too if you had a blog like I have too.”

When I started writing, I started for my own piece of mind and my own need to document my thoughts, my concerns and to explore the question “did I have a talent for writing and did I have a voice that needed to be heard” After doing this and writing on a daily basis, my blog has made me very happy. I have made new friends and their friendships are very special to me.

I probably didn’t treat this prompt correctly but I think that you get the gist, I can write whatever I want, so everything fits in my blog, as it should.

A romantic gesture

My hubby surprised me with these two beautiful rose buds on my car seat earlier today when we were going to our cousin’s high school graduation. I opened the car door, and there they were lying there in their perfection. My hubby is such a romantic. It will be 23 years and I think that I will keep him around for 23 years more.

Here is a picture of our beautiful graduate and a picture of the baby girl, myself and our cousin Carly. The two young beauties; they are both so sweet and have really good heads on their shoulders. It is so much fun spending time with them, I get to bask in their youthful energy and ambition. We are very proud of both girls and we know that they will both do well in the future.
This weekend was a lot of fun for everyone.
