Write about something that happened over the weekend as though it's the top story on your local paper.
The top story of the weekend was Father's Day and here in Blandford it was marked by door to door grilling making fathers all around in Blandford so happy and productive; prepping the meat of preference with rubs, either wet or dry, marinades and brines. The process didn't stop with the carnivorous choices, there was the type of fuel to pick in order to fire up those grills. We are talking about wood or briquets or the gas grill; there are huge debates surrounding that very subject that can take more than one six pack of beer to resolve.
Saving the best for last, the Father's Day cards, either store bought or handmade, brought out by the hundreds and given to Blandford fathers with love and care. Then came the presents; every single gadget known to man, power tools galore and more barbecue accessories to make every dad happy and proud of his grill station. It was some very happy times during this Father's Day weekend here in Blandford.
