While I was on my IPad, I was looking through the applications that I hadn’t clicked on before and I opened photo booth. It has all these photo manipulative techniques that allow you to distort your subject in quite a few ways so I used my self-portrait to experiment and I came up with some scary pictures. As you can probably tell, I got a little bored with writing important stuff so I am relaxing and goofing off with frivolous playing. Enjoy the pics!

First day of school

Recall your first day of school and write about it.

I remember my first day of first grade vividly. My school was called Our Lady of Mount Carmel and my first grade teacher was Sister Amelia, she had a beautiful singing voice and very strong hands. Our classroom was set up with six or seven rows of wooden chairs and desks and I sat in the first desk in the second row. This little boy Jimmy sat behind me and he was crying, I turned around to comfort him and Sister Amelia touched my hand to get my attention, when I turned my head back to the front of the class I got a huge slap across the face and I joined Jimmy in crying though he was crying for his mother and I was crying in pain and probably for my mother as well by that point. I never spoke out of turn after that. I kept my head down and my nose to the grindstone.
