What famous monument do you hope to see one day?

Monument To See
I would love to see all the monuments to the ancients such as Stonehenge, the idols on Easter Island, the pyramids in Egypt. I know that Syria, Jordan and the rest of the region hold many wonders that I would also love to visit. I’m curious about the beginning physical manifestations of man’s worship of something beyond their understanding.

Hmm… My first thought was ‘Mt Rushmore’. Not quite as spiritual!

My first thought was Mt Rushmore but then I wanted my visit to be more, I’m reading about ancient peoples and it is so utterly fascinating. The book is Guns, Germs and Steel. the rise of civilization.
