Access to information is broader and can take you however far you need to go
Smoking cigarettes has completely lost its glamour
Disadvantages
I would argue too much reliance on technology
War is become something less well-defined
Education and health care are outrageously expensive

“who cannot say mankind has advanced? In every war we learn to kill each other in a new way.”
Progress work both ways depending on our moral living.
I know that quote and it is sad that part of our society views advancement as newer and faster ways of killing the “enemy”. Moral living is key and it is something that will also always be part of our society, thank goodness if only to offset the morally bankrupt that still lurk in our midst.
