There are quite a few great things about the A.C.A bill that I love; one is that my two children get to stay on my health care insurance until they are 26. That is such a weight off my shoulders as a parent. The second is the elimination of the pre-existing condition clause that the health care insurance companies had a field day with for years. Third is the elimination of caps on health insurance policies so that if you were stricken with cancer or some other disease, they would cease paying at some point. Just these few issues makes me a fan of the bill and appreciative of just how vulnerable we were to the whims of the health insurance companies profit making policies. It basically stinks when a company hasn’t any qualms about making you feel that your health has a price tag to it. It opens your eyes as to how cold and cruel the world can be sometimes, just for the bottom line.
