Nevada Republican Voters Asked: What Would It Take For You To Support Barack Obama?

That guy speaking to the big banks and how they are crowding out the smaller banks is correct but if he thinks that a Romney administration would react differently to the banking issue, I don’t think that he understands how similar the positions of the Obama treasury department and the Romney advisers positions are. Moreover if that man is so concerned about the housing foreclosure crisis than why is he supporting Romney, Romney wants to let the foreclosure crisis hit the very bottom and that will take awhile, at least the Obama administration is still trying to get something together to alleviate some of the economic pain for the homeowners. And to the gentleman who is concerned about the deficits, Bush’s administration basically borrowed money the country didn’t have for two rounds of tax cuts, two wars and the medicare prescription plan part D, Mitch Daniels as budget director didn’t do us any favors, how can he think that because President Obama is a democrat that he is unconcerned about deficits when clearly the GOP wasn’t just a short while ago. Their vitriol against President Obama doesn’t have any merit and that is what is so annoying.

I want Gingrich to stay in the race so that he can continue to flesh out Romney the politician and pin him down. Romney has been campaigning with a script that is based on fundamental lies. The president has never apologized for America if you look at his foreign policy in Pakistan and Afghanistan, I would argue that the predator drone strikes and the killing of many top level al-Queda terrorists runs counter to any apology. The President repeatedly extolls the virtues of America’s frontier spirit, our generosity to those in need, our hard-working and innovative spirit. Romney is lying about President Obama, I would like to hear him be asked to explain his record in Massachusetts as opposed to simply his experience at Bain LLC. Being a governor of a state is much more in line with Presidential duties and responsibilities than that of a private equity capitalist. Government is here to facilitate the act of job creation for industry, government is also here to protect the rights of people, the environment, being President is much more complex and nuanced than simply being a business man. Romney being an ex-Governor should know this and yet he won’t run on his experience of being Governor. That is a negative mark in his campaign, the fact that he isn’t proud of his record in public service.
