Mitt Romney’s Struggle With Truth Continues

Romney has two problems, one is that he feels the need to be above the fray and when he isn’t and someone calls him out on it he lies, big problem. The second is my biggest problem with him, if as he says, he is fighting to save American Capitalism from the “dangerous­” policies of our President, then Romney should be proud of his accomplish­ments, how much money he has made as a corporate raider and if he really believes that tax cuts to the wealthy is the economical­ly sound way to get our economy growing faster, then why isn’t he shouting about how great it is to pay 15% on his capital gains income from the rooftops? If he truly believes that what worked for him will work for everyone in terms of breath of opportunit­y then he should own all his accomplish­ments instead of either lying about them or trying to hide them.

Presidential Debate: Rick Santorum Attacks Mitt Romney On Health Care

This is where the GOP loses me in their “logic”, with the passage of the Affordable Patient Care Act, the health Insurance companies get guaranteed consumers, everyone in this country will be covered under some sort of plan. I am sure that the C.E.O’s have issues over the obligatory dedication of 80% of insurance premiums to go to actual health costs but still, their consumer pool is so much bigger with the passage of this act, so what gives? Is it solely because it is a democrat President that was able to have it passed or is it something specific to President Obama, I am thinking that since Clinton couldn’t get his health insurance plan off the ground, it must be because the health care plan is coming from the democrat party, nothing specific to President Obama, but it does make me wonder.
