What immediately comes to mind is picking up two turkeys, a variety of canned goods and all of our extra coats and bringing it all to the Springfield Rescue Mission last year. This year I have donated a lot of shoes and clothes to the Salvation army. I don’t know if I would say that this is necessarily noble, it is after all the least that I can do when there are so many who do without on a daily basis.
I think that the people who man the front lines in the homeless shelters, the social services workers, those who work tirelessly at the rescue missions, those people do noble deeds everyday. I don’t know if an occasional donation could be counted as noble, I would say that it is an act of kindness and sympathy.
