I would pack up for adventures unknown and travel with my journal and pen. I’m pretty sure that my first stop would be Tibet and I would tour the country as best as I can and try to engage as many of the locals in conversation as possible to learn and document how they deal with repression, poverty and how they hold on to hope. My travels would then widen from there, I would be curious to visit Bhutan and see what Michael J. Fox saw on his visit there. I would like to learn from a country whose leaders believes in a happiness index as valid measurement of prosperity. I know that I can learn much from a trip there. I think that a trip to the Middle East would be the next stop, that would be followed by trips into Africa. I would be searching for the roots of humanity and also one of the world’s oldest trees located in Iraq. Africa is the cradle of civilization and the Middle East I believe is also the cradle of three of the major religions, there is wisdom to be found in them there spaces.
