Eddie’s Pizza

Since home cooking is probably not part of deal, I pick pizza. I love pizza and I have never subscribed to the notion that it is junk food. How can you lump tomato sauce, fine Italian cheese, basil and a thin crust as junk food? You can find very well made pizza in New York City and two slices will put you back around 6.00

The Real and Present Danger of Herman Cain

It is astounding that Herman Cain does appeal to segments of the population who would see their taxes raised under his 9-9-9 plan, now if their taxes were being raised because their income had increased under his economic proposals because he found the solution to how to put everyone back to work who has been unemployed for all this time I would say Mr. Cain, bless your heart. But no, the segment of the population who would see their taxes raised is the segment who cannot afford it. The wealthy are the ones who get the tax breaks, we of the lower classes can no longer afford to pay for everything; the military, congressional salaries, health insurance coverage, paid vacations, this country’s infrastructure. We can’t do it, our wages have stayed the same for the past 30 years and the cost of health care, education both have skyrocketed. GOP lawmakers, you can’t get blood from a stone, something has got to give.

I am not a millionaire but I cannot for the life of me see how that anyone who takes in more than a million dollars annually can complain about a 4.5% increase on their federal income taxes. I am pretty sure that the all important capital gains tax wouldn’t even be touched. I would be upset if President Obama and the democratic party were speaking in terms of returning government spending and TAXING completely to the levels that were seen during the Eisenhower administration. I say that because President Obama took a lot of flak from his own party when he said that his plan would reduce government discretionary spending to the Eisenhower levels and the GOP weren’t even impressed, it would have been fun if President Obama had said and revenue will return to those levels as well, 90% We would have seen a huge fainting spell in the GOP side.I don’t get it, the occupiers have very legitimate issues and they are progressing along developing new game plans daily, I wish them well.

Paul Krugman: ‘Whole Nature Of Our Society At Stake’ In Inequality Debate

Has everyone forgotten the French revolution and why it occurred? When General Lafayette went back to France he was impassioned by what he saw as a moral victory for the people of the United States. He was an aristocrat but with George Washington as his mentor he saw the horrible injustice in his homeland as a result of gross wealth inequality. Lafayette was for a constitutional monarchy, he didn’t foresee how the extreme degradation of the 99% was to to lead to all out anarchy.Neither did the nobles, which is why they were sitting ducks in their chateaux oblivious to how morally unjust the system was and it was a system that hadn’t any logic. Why were the nobles so superior? Did they have special talent, did they do extraordinary things for humanity? There are amazing parallels between the finance elite and the aristocracy of 1789 France, and we the 99% have started to see it clearly, I wonder when our 1% will wake up behind their gated communities and realize that this too is unsustainable for society as a whole.
