Which leads us to the question what would be a suitable tax reform? Personally, I wish that the tax code were simpler. Your tax responsibilities were taken out of you check weekly and end of story. No need to twist yourself up in knots before April 15th. Everything taken care with a paycheck, if you don’t have a paycheck, well obviously you wouldn’t be paying taxes because you have no income anyway. I know that my wish is simplistic to the nth degree so anyone feel free to criticize and ridicule but if you do at least provide your own version as to what the tax code should be.
