To-Do List

I don't normally make to do lists and in the odd moments that I do, I make sure that I do everything on the list because I don't like incompletion. I really don't like to do lists so that is why I don't make them. I think that they are over rated.

States Struggle For Money, Political Will To Fix America’s Failing Roads

Why can’t these GOP lawmakers stop with their lame analogies? The pair of jeans being worn out and not automatically buying a new pair is ludicrous to compare with the public hazard of having substandard roads and bridges. Private household budgeting and debt management has nothing to do with public governance. Decaying infrastructure puts the brakes on economic growth and expansion. Companies will not locate their operating and manufacturing facilities in areas that require their own capital injection to make it viable for them to operate, it wouldn’t make any economic sense to them. Seen over time, the GOP economic playbook doesn’t bring us to a winning result it puts us on a huge losing streak. It doesn’t take a lot of common sense to see that letting everything go to pot simply isn’t the answer.

I am tentatively going to say that this sound like good news for union workers, we need to stop the further depression of wages that keeps bringing the middle class further down the rungs of the financial security ladder. There are so many avenues that need to be addressed other than wage stagnation. We need to still address health care costs, higher education costs, fossil fuel costs, the housing market, bankruptcy and outsourcing jobs, decaying infrastructure, trade imbalance and arsenic in our apple juice because we use Chinese apples. (I had to put that in). Basically, it’s 40 years of following one path, the path to enriching one group of people at the expense of the rest of us. It is time to redirect our path and re-invest in our long term future because if the 95 % of us start to do better than everyone as a whole does better. As opposed to the path we are on now, we are seeing the consequences and it is only going to get worse.

Obama Jobs Plan: President Asks Congress To Pass Jobs Bill Without ‘Division Or Delay’

I wish that President Obama had pushed for more infrastructure spending, following the example of Vermont and how they are dealing with the fall out done by Hurricane Irene. He had to have realized that the GOP House would never pass what ever he proposed so why not go big? What really bothers me are the payroll tax cuts, I wish that the administration would permanently step away from them. Social security funding absolutely needs to stay away the general fund, to keep it an independent working person retirement fund which is what it is. It is not an entitlement program, it is an individually paid for insurance program that is backed by the full faith of the United States Treasury, anyone who tells you different wants to sell you a stock option on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Gunpoint, postaday2011

I told him where I was going, and he hurried me out, pointing to the door with a gun, but what he didn’t know was that waiting for me at my destination was my partner, my back up plan. When you’re in my business, you live or die by your back up plan. I had utmost confidence in mine, he is six feet five inches of lean muscle, lightening fast reflexes, quiet, reliable and would lay his life down on a dime for me.

This punk thought that he held all the cards, dismissing me as any potential threat because of my sex and size. Did I let that bother me? No, my goal was to get rid of this annoyance as quickly as possible. My mate and I had more important work to do and as soon as I was within range of my destination, my mate would be in range to put the annoying punk out of the equation and we can then proceed with our mission. The punk made a poor choice when he mistook me for an easy target, he’s lucky that we operate on the principle of no blood-letting except under extreme duress and even then we frown upon it. Our mission is of the utmost importance and it being carried out as cleanly as possible gives it a legitimacy that cannot be bought.

My mate and I are off to extract the files that we have been searching for, for 4 years now, that will eliminate beyond a shadow of a doubt the existence of the shadow bankers and their organization, all the data, all the accounts, all the lackeys, all the government officials worldwide that are beholden to these shadow bankers, they who run the world with the sole purpose of creating more and more wealth only for their disposal.

This information must be brought out into the light, no matter the cost. Our society as a world of people, needs to be freed from all the lies the shadow bankers promote through their journalistic puppets, their political mouthpieces and their corporate minions.

We will be successful, our freedom from their financial tyranny must come to an end. It starts with the lid blowing of the reality of this criminal organization. I must leave you now, my mate and I have work to do. If we don’t make it, someone must take up the gauntlet and continue our mission. We aren’t important, the mission is, for us and our future.

Gag gift for my dad: magnifier

I'm feeling impish so I would really love to be gifted with the creative brain juices necessary to send the ultimate gag gift to an old friend, something harmless but would still send them shrieking wit laughter. I just am not that creative so I don't know.
