This can only be a positive addition to the requiremen­ts of legal and analytical expertise that a potential juror must demonstrat­e to the Senate prior to confirmati­on. When making determinat­ion on rulings that will affect the American people, the jurist must be above ethical reproach especially in terms of financial impropriet­ies. No one wants to see a jurist be influenced by any one group to the detriment of impartiali­ty.
