This immediately brought the new pipeline that has been talked about recently. The one that would start in Alberta Canada and end up in Texas bringing in the crude oil from the tar sands in Alberta to our country, I think that they are also thinking of expanding a pipeline westward as well. The project is still in negotiations but can you imagine all the potential accidents that can happen throughout all the states down the pipeline? Clean water is going to become a rare commodity if we keep going at this rate.

Ann Coulter Calls Princess Diana ‘Anorexic, Bulimic Narcissist’ (VIDEO)

I find Ann Coulter to be one of the most offensive women I have ever seen on t.v. To reduce Princess Diana as just an anorexic, bulimic narcissist is to be ignorant of what an eating disorder really means. As a recovering anorexic, I can state with certitude that to suffer from an eating disorder is hell and there is no room in that person’s psyche for narcissism to even exist. Ann Coulter is a person of hate so instead of recognizing all the good Princess Diana did in the world she focuses her venom on Dian’s personal pain. Why is she even interviewed?

Will the Real John Quincy Adams Please Stand Up?

Ah, does one good to re-read a well written historical account of the life of John Quincy Adams and not simply picking a name out of the air and and trying to force history around it to suit your purposes and world view. That is the key problem with these revisionist political candidates and pundits, they do not respect our history at all. They place certain quotes, articles of the constitution and certain events in a almost mystical place and shape them around their perverted sense of what America used to be. I have read many texts regarding our senior founding fathers, and what I have come away with is that they had a healthy fear of tyranny in any form, political, military and especially financial. Even back then there was serious debate going on between landowners and landless free men, all was not rosy and harmonious. Governing successfully requires so many things and one of them should be a deep understanding of our history and what it means to us today.

I’m at home sitting in the living room writing on my Ipad after spending all day outside in the backyard attacking one of my flower beds which was, or more precisely, still is partially invaded by the most destructive, convoluted root system, choking weed called Bishop’s weed. This weed gets away with secretly taking root and ambushing an innocent garden because it closely resembles a lovely plant called Queen Anne’s Lace.
I adore gardening, all parts of gardening and when I saw the topic, I said to myself which window will I choose? My house is a big square with a central staircase and two floors. Each room in the house has a fireplace and at least 3 windows but usually 4 windows per room. Throughout the years, I’ve designed little garden beds all around the house so that at each window you have a different vantage point of my gardens. However, that’s only for spring and summer, in the fall you see fallen leaves everywhere which means raking for me and a lot of it. Winter is typically snow-covered so what you see outside each and every window is white with a smattering of little presents left by the two dogs, Rex and Jack.
So, when I started this post I got up and looked out of the first living room window and gazed at one of the two huge red Maple trees on the front lawn, Shasta Daisy’s starting to bloom, and I was wondering if I should water my hanging plants outside tonight. I googled the weather forecast from my Ipad and forecast for tomorrow, scattered thunder storms, so I’ll let nature take her course and water for me tomorrow.
